To generate your compatibility reading, we collect only what is essential:

• Names of both partners
• Dates of birth of both partners
• Gender (optional)
• Payment information processed by our payment gateway (we never see or store your card details)
• Contact information (email, phone) — only if you book a 1-on-1 session
• Technical data such as browser type, device, IP address, and pages visited (standard web analytics)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Calculate your compatibility scores and generate your personalised reading
• Process payments securely via Razorpay
• Save your reading so you can access it later or share it via your unique link
• Schedule and conduct 1-on-1 sessions you have booked
• Improve the quality and accuracy of our readings
• Communicate with you about your purchases, bookings, or account
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Services We Use

To deliver the Service, we share limited information with trusted third parties:

Razorpay

Handles all payment processing. They receive your name, email, phone number, and payment details. Razorpay is RBI-regulated and PCI-DSS compliant. Read their privacy policy.

OpenRouter / Anthropic (Claude AI)

We send your computed compatibility data (names, zodiac, life path numbers, scores) to generate your personalised reading prose. We do not send your contact details or payment information. Read OpenRouter's privacy policy and Anthropic's privacy policy.

Hosting (Hostinger)

Our servers are hosted on Hostinger infrastructure. Standard server logs may be retained for security.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your reading is stored on our secure servers in encrypted form and linked to a randomly-generated 16-character ID. Access is granted only to those with the unique link. We use industry-standard security including HTTPS encryption, secure key management, and access controls.

We retain reading data indefinitely so you can revisit it. You can request deletion at any time (see section 8).

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to remember:

• Your last entered names & dates so you don't have to re-type them
• Your unlocked reading so you can revisit without paying again

We do not use tracking cookies for advertising at this time. If we add advertising pixels (such as Meta Pixel or Google Analytics), this policy will be updated and consent banners added where required.

6. Children's Privacy

CosmicLuv is intended for users aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used our Service, please contact us so we can delete their data.

7. International Users

CosmicLuv is operated from India. By using the Service, you consent to your information being processed in India. We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete your data (right to erasure)
• Withdraw consent at any time
• File a grievance with the relevant data protection authority
